Can you tell us a little more about you and your styling background?
When I was little, it was clear to me that I wanted to become a hairstylist. Now, many years later, I still feel the same passion. I built my own business to give myself more creative freedom. I appreciate the support of my team and enjoy watching them grow as well.
What bridal trends are you loving right now?
I love the timeless glam with the hair down, natural waves with soft twisted details or hair accessories.
What new trends can we expect to see this season?
I think natural glam will be more and more celebrated. There might be more focus on the bridal fashion and the hair and make-up choice might be more simple but still perfectly flattering and naturally glamorous.
I’m super excited for the wedding season 2024.
How do you stay inspired?
I always have dreams and visions and that is the inspiration that drives me. I love to travel and learn from people all over the world. It’s very fulfilling for me to contribute to the growth of other people with my knowledge.
What advice would you give to a bridal hairstylist just getting started?
Do not let fear hold you back. It’s just normal to feel insecure in the beginning. I always invited friends or volunteers to sit down for me so I could practice and try out new hairstyles over and over again. That took away my insecurities and gave me more routine and speed. Also, my friends were super happy too when they got hairstyles for free 🙂
Best advice to a bride regarding her hairstyle?
Choose different inspiration photos of hairstyles you like. That way I can point out particular things you like about each photo and get a much better idea of the overall hairstyle
What is the one product/tool you can not live without?
It’s my super old needle comb who never lets me down. I use it for every single hairstyle! 🙂
Best advice you have ever been given in the hair industry?
Not to compare myself with others and to run my business my own way. I was very young when I decided to start my own business. But I’m glad I made all the decisions with my heart and only listened to the advice of people who inspired and motivated me.
This is what makes you unique and successful in your work.
What do you love to do outside of work?
As a child of the mountains, I can recharge my batteries the most when I spend time outdoors. Going for a walk and listening to music. Also I love to have a delicious dinner with a glass of wine, then I can fully relax 🙂
Guilty pleasures?
As soon as I lay on my couch, wearing my chiller outfit, I get so comfortable that I can’t leave the house anymore. I feed myself snacks, watch shows and have the time of my life.
