Can you tell us a little more about you and your styling background?
I graduated from one of the Hairdressing Institutes in Melbourne and started working at Rokkebony salon for nearly 10 years. During my hairdressing journey, I have been invited many times working at some iconic events like Melbourne fashion week and Spring carnival. It’s all styling.
What new trends can we look forward to?
Effortless and editorial looks are the way to go.
How do you stay inspired?
I believe a hairdresser is like an artist. I get inspired by not only doing hair but it could be from everyone that I work with or anything I see everyday. I’ll pick it up and have it influence my hairdressing portfolio.
What advice would you give to a hairstylist just getting started?
Be patient and listen in learning and motivation in working.
What is the one product/tool you can not live without?
Bedroom spray from Kevin Murphy and a good teasing comb!
Best advice you have ever been given in the hair industry?
Do what you love and love what you did. Be humble and never stop learning new things from the others.
What do you love to do outside of work?
I love traveling and spending time with my family at art galleries.
Eating too many cheese cakes!! Hahaha!
