ANNIE JOHNSON

Can you tell us a little more about you and your styling background?
Hi, I’m Annie Johnson and I’m from Sydney, Australia. Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve always loved doing hair. My hairdressing career started over 20 years ago when I had my first job at a local salon. I was a “Saturday Girl” at the basin on the weekends while I was at school during the week. I loved hairdressing that much that when I was 15, I left school and started my apprenticeship. I worked in the salon for just over 10 years. And as time went by, I decided I wanted a change from working in a salon, but still wanted to do hair. So, I created my own business and started freelancing and doing weddings on the weekends. This enabled me to branch out into work I could dream of including TV, fashion and bridal shoots.
I have never looked back. It’s definitely my dream job. I truly love what I do everyday!
